Greetings AKA Families - 

As registrations are coming through steadily for all of our Summer Camp locations, we want to make you aware of a necessary adjustment for the 2020 AKA All Sports Camp this summer at the NATIONAL SPORTS CENTER IN BLAINE.  Total transparency for the betterment of your kid's experience!

Based on our current registration numbers for each grade and the need to prioritize safety, we are moving 3rd graders from the EXPO Center, now to the (Super Rink) RINK 8 (AKA's home base arena) to join the 4th-6th graders for the summer. Therefore, K-2 will be in the EXPO Center and 3-6 will be at RINK 8 this summer.  Again for (1) safety, (2) proper development, and overall a better experience, especially the younger ages.

For those of you new to the program, the AKA All Sports Camp has previously been held only in Rink 8 and included all campers in grades 1-6. The change to have younger campers in the Expo Center is new for 2020 so we are able to welcome our (going into) Kindergarten campers, keep our sports and games at an age appropriate level and to and continue to grow our camp while maintaining safety and organization.

If you feel strongly that your third grader should be included with the K-2 group we will accommodate. We understand that families may want to keep younger siblings with older siblings or simply feel their child would do better in an environment with younger campers. We encourage our third grade campers to join the 4-6 grade group, but will make exceptions as needed.

There are still spots available for all grade levels however, the AKA All Sports Camp is filling up, especially with the Early Bird Discount running to the end of this month.  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We are continually evaluating our camp operations to ensure the safety and happiness of everyone involved!
