We believe every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of sports, build lasting friendships, and develop essential life skills. A donation of just $20 can make a significant impact by helping a camper attend our All Sports Summer Camp for the year of 2024. AKASPORT is able to offer a limited number of scholarships to our All Sport Summer Camp thanks to donors and sponsors. Your $20 donation goes directly towards providing scholarships for campers who otherwise might miss out. We believe in creating equal opportunities for all children, regardless of their financial circumstances.

This year we are focused on supporting our offsite After School programs and our AKA Scholarship Fund. We strive to meet the constantly evolving needs of our students within our community. What part of your program does my donation support?
We use each donation where it can have the most impact. Typically these funds are used for reducing or eliminating fees for our after school programs.
What about your camps? Do you use the fees from camps for after school programs?
The fees our camp participants pay support their time in camp. Any remaining revenue goes toward expanding our summer camps to serve even more campers. We carefully select our new locations and were fortunate to expand in Summer 2017 to our Centennial camp, added two additional locations in Summer 2019 at Adrenaline Sports Center and Hopkins Pavilion, and added another in 2023 at Champions Hall in Eden Prairie.
What are your key priorities for this year?
Expanding after school programs to reach more kids each day
Reducing or eliminating fees for after school programs so more kids are able to participate
Hiring additional After School Staff to work with our After School Director to increase programs and class sizes
Do you have a monthly giving program?
Yes! You can select monthly giving when you donate through our PayPal link (PayPal or Credit/Debit card).
Do you have corporate sponsors?

Do you accept in-kind donations?
Yes! We host 1-2 silent auction events each year and are always looking for donations to include in the auction. We also accept donations of sports equipment, office supplies and more to keep costs down.
